In his new role, Rick will be responsible for leading business development, expanding applications for PVC and PP materials, market research, and working with sales and customers to define new product development and opportunities.

Prior to joining SIMONA, Rick worked in the abrasives industry with a primary focus on steel for the tank and pressure-vessel segments. He will now focus on promoting the capabilities that PP, PE and PVC deliver to these segments while developing opportunities for these high-quality materials provide advantages in key applications that have been primarily dominated by steel or other metals.

Rick’s top goals for his new role are to exceed customer satisfaction by further positioning SIMONA as the expert thermoplastic manufacturer that provides high quality products, technical knowledge, and supportive customer solutions.

“I am excited to lead the key PP and PVC segment initiatives and eager to visit our customers to fully understand their business, pain-points, needs and expectations, and vision for the future,” said Rick.

As our Industrial Segment has grown over the past few years, Rick’s comprehensive industrial knowledge will further position SIMONA America as a leader in PP and PVC materials and applications. Rick will be based out of the SIMONA AMERICA Industries facility in Archbald, PA.
