Kynar Flex® 2800 PVDF Sheet Available through SIMONA AMERICA Industries for Lining Applications in the Chemical Process Industry
Kynar Flex® 2800, when used as a material for extruded sheet, offers improved chemical resistance in alkaline environments, as well as higher ductility and greater resistance to stress-cracking. The Kynar Flex® 2800 material maintains high thermal stability up to 130°C continuous use, ultra-high purity, excellent chemical resistance, and extreme durability to direct sunlight exposure. The increased ductility makes the material easier to work with during fabrication. Kynar Flex® 2800 is compliant with a variety of industry regulatory requirements, including FDA 177.2600, NSF 51 & 61, and 3A Dairy, among others. Sheet made from Kynar Flex® 2800 is ideally suited for linings in the chemical process industry, especially in over-the-road trailers, FRP dual laminate tanks, and lined metal vessels.
SIMONA AMERICA Industries stocks standard dual laminate size of .090” x 48” x 600”, with polyester fabric backing. SIMONA AMERICA Industries also offers custom gauges, additional backing options such as glass backing, as well as standard sheet material, available is 48” x 96”, upon request.
