SIMONA AMERICA Industries Remains Fully Operational
Company
At this time, plastics manufacturing businesses DO fall into the category of “life-sustaining,” therefore our facilities are permitted to remain in operation.
Although our office employees are prepared to and are currently working from home, and our 'can-do' production workforce is committed to continue to work in the factory, we know we are not invincible. As the situation could change at any moment, we are planning as if an involuntary or voluntary two week manufacturing shutdown of our operations will occur at the end of Friday, March 27, 2020. We will make our decision on continuing operations (if it isn’t made for us by the government) by the end of business on Wednesday March 25, 2020 and will make appropriate internal and external announcements.
If we choose not to shut down, we will review this decision at least weekly. If the shutdown continues beyond the initial two weeks, we will make appropriate decisions that are in the best interest of our employees, customers, suppliers and communities.
To minimize the impact on our valued customers, we would like you to contact your sales representative about your order and inventory situation so that we can best serve your needs in this difficult time. If you are concerned about any urgent needs, please place those orders immediately.
We are committed to doing all that we can to maintain the best level of service to our customers during this time of crisis, while maintaining the health and safety of our employees and their families is our primary objective.
