Jim Hutter retiring from SIMONA AMERICA
Company
Newcomerstown, Ohio. SIMONA AMERICA Inc. announced today that Jim Hutter, West Coast Sales Director, has retired effective January 1st, 2016. Hutter’s decision to retire will bring to a close a remarkable career of more than 44 years of continuous service to the industry.
Hutter’s contributions to Boltaron include helping to shape the strategic direction that drove the company’s development as a major thermoplastic supplier in the aircraft industry.
“It’s nice to see a company like Boltaron grow into a highly successful organization,” said Hutter. “I like to think I contributed to that growth.”
Beginning his career in customer service for General Tire and Rubber in 1971, Hutter was relocated to Southern Califonia where he was responsible for developing the market for aerospace thermoplastics. He then transitioned into distribution sales and management, eventually serving as a Business Unit Manager for Cadillac Plastics.
With an entrepreneurial spirit, expertise in the field of plastics, and a long list of contacts in distribution, Hutter founded West Coast Plastic Sales in 1995 – which to this day represents both Boltaron and its partner SIMONA AMERICA.
"Jim Hutter has had an illustrious and long career with Boltaron, and its predecessor companies operating from the Newcomerstown, Ohio location,” said Larry Schorr, CEO of SIMONA America, Inc. “In the 20 years that I have known and worked with Jim, he has been the consummate team member, sales leader, and positive force for both high morale and business success. Although he will be missed, we wish him and his wife, Kris great happiness in their retirement."
