Assistant Operator

 

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and transport pallets for production orders; check quality & weight, etc.
  • Label, count, weigh, band and transport finished goods
  • Provide operators with packing supplies per production order documentation
  • Organize and clean area around assigned production lines
  • Support operators during breaks and provide support with other tasks as requested/needed
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, free of hazards

 

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Plastics Injection Molding: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)

 

Technical Skills

  • Stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel
  • Reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision

 

Interpersonal Skills

  • Ability to manage complex projects from beginning to end, successfully balance multiple projects and ensure timely and successful project completion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to effectively communicate technical concepts with individuals who are learning processes and procedures. This includes training others followed by testing for understanding.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to establish test plans, collect data, analyze/interpret results and make recommendations.
  • Ability to operate all testing equipment, training provided.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team
  • Ability to handle changing priorities

Machine Operator

 

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Apply knowledge of different materials and products to run product properly.
  • Read and understand orders. Set up the orders. Run the orders.
  • Apply general mechanical knowledge of Extruder and downstream equipment.
  • Change gauges, speeds and coordinate changeovers in a fast paced environment.
  • Use micrometers, calipers and other quality tools to adjust dies and process accordingly.
  • Take machine apart as instructed for cleaning, replacing parts and changeovers without causing damage.
  • Keep accurate records of production performance and quality documentation.
  • Strap, band and package all finished products securely for shipping.
  • Trimming to clean all finished sheets according to procedures.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, free of hazards.

Shipping and Receiving Associate

 

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Must have a good working knowledge of part numbers and part usage and understand applications for use. 
  • Able to properly document and record orders being packaged and prepared for customer orders, recording counts, weights, item numbers, lot numbers and locations accurately.
  • Accurately document internal stock movements on the proper forms 
  • Ability to work in a team environment 
  • Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. 
  • Prepares and expedites shipments.
  • Determines labeling requirements including but not limited to: Assemble and pack product containers, preparing and affixing shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information for cartons, skids or other storage devices in an accurate manner including any special labels that are customer required.
  • Proper operation of equipment to safety and productivity requirements, including but not limited to: Lift truck or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas
